Junior speakers for ReproUnion Research Seminar in February

The first ReproUnion Research Seminar of 2018 takes place on February 1st 2018 at Medicon Valley Alliance. Read more about the junior speakers here.

Yahia Al-Jebari, PhD Student at Department of Translational Medicine, Lund University, will present his results from his ReproUnion research project with the presentation: The Effects of Paternal Cancer and Cancer Treatment on the Health of the Offspring at ReproYoung Research Seminar that takes places on February 1st, 2018. Yahia holds a master’s degree in biochemical engineering from University College London and is soon finishing his first year as a PhD student. His work takes place at molecular reproductive medicine at Skåne University Hospital. His main research focus pertains to the effects of paternal cancer and cancer treatment on the health of the offspring. He also works on subfertility as a risk factor for future health.

Linn Salto Mamsen, Postdoc from Laboratory of Reproductive Biology at the University Hospital of Copenhagen, Rigshospitalet will present her research project: Differentiation of the Human Gonad – Sex Specific Differences in the Temporal Expression of Key Genes in Fetal Ovary and Testis.

Dorota Trzybulska, postdoctoral researcher from Department of Translational Medicine at Lund University will present: Micronas as Biomarkers of Male Subfertility. Dorota holds A PhD in biotechnology from the Poznan University of Medical Sciences, Poland. Now she is working as a PostDoc in the Reproductive Medicine group at the Lund University in Malmö, Sweden. Dorota is involved in the project focusing on the role of sncRNAs as potential biomarkers of male subfertility.
