New Patient Mobility Agreement enables Childless Couple to get Treatment in both Malmø and Copenhagen

Posted by on November 27, 2017

Both Swedish and Danish patients with certain types of involuntary infertility can now receive specialized treatment in Malmö and Copenhagen.

Region H and Region Skåne has reached an agreement regarding the Patient Mobility Agreement. The agreement enables patients from both Sweden and Denmark to receive medical treatment within a field of expertise that is not available in their home country. The Patient Mobility Agreement is built upon a previous existing agreement that was initiated and ended under ReproHigh – a project under Lund University. What differentiates the reactivated agreement compared to the previous one, is that the new agreement is part of ReproUnion, which includes more clinics than the old agreement.
