Prevention of reduced fertility

Nov 15, 2016

Today, the Danish ”Vidensråd for Forebyggelse” is publishing a study about prevention of reduced fertility.

The vast majority have a desire to become parents, but a large part of the Danes have to wait unsuccessfully for children. A recent study from the Danish Vidensråd for Forebyggelse, concluded that we know too little about how to take care of our fertility.

One in ten women in Denmark is either involuntary childless or will never have the number of children that she desires because of her own or her partner reduced fertility.

Vidensråd for Forebyggelse has gathered the scientific literature about reduced fertility in one study, where some of Denmark’s leading scientists map the reason for reduced fertility and introduces suggestions for prevention efforts.
