The ReproUnion General Assembly was held on 10. October, this year and for the first time it was an open event for everyone in the partnership, we were happy to see 15 people live at MVA and 11 participants attending online.
The meeting began with a welcome and an update from the Executive Board by Jens Sønksen. Jens provided an overview of the work that the Executive board has done in order to develop a ReproUnion Strategy beyond 2026, during this session Anette Steenberg also shared her thoughts on how to work with advocacy for future funding. Sofia Amin followed with a brief update on the ReproUnion budget, highlighting key financial aspects.
Then it was time for the Work Package (WP) progress report and Kristine had orchestred that all WP leaders had assigned a presenter to give a short update. We started of with WP1 Project Management where Kristine provided an update on the accomplishments and challenges. Then Katalin shared her thoughts on the Innovation platform, where we are now, where we want to be, and the gaps that need to be filled and Kristine gave an update on initiatives, milestones and deliverables for the Innovation forum and ReproStart-up which are all part of WP2 Public-private innovation. For WP3 the principal investigators or assigned colleagues of the 7 innovation projects presented updates for each project WP3.1-3.7 and lastly Niels provided an update on WP4 the Cross-border research infrastructure.
Aleksander summarized the status on compliance and risk factors, and concluded that there was no need for proposals for modifications to the work plan.
During the open floor and Q&A sessions, all participants had the chance to share their thoughts and raise any final questions. The meeting concluded with closing remarks from Jens, summarizing the key points and next steps.
