Aleksander Giwercman, professor in Reproductive Medicine at University of Lund, said about the Danish-Swedish collaboration: “It was not until we combined the Swedish and Danish data from almost two million children, we discovered a slightly increased risk of birth defects in children born by men who have undergone cancer treatment. The collaboration could mean huge time savings”.
