The second successful ReproUnion Research Seminar

Sep 15, 2016

On Tuesday, September 13th, 2016, ReproUnion hosted the second Research Seminar for 50+ participants – both internally involved ReproUnion researchers and external researchers interested in ReproUnion and infertility.

With presentations from Lærke Priskorn from Rigshospitalet, Department of Growth and Reproduction, Ebba Malmqvist from Lund University, Department of Occupational and Environmental Medicine and Selma Kløve Landersø from Rigshospitalet, The Fertility Clinic, the participants got a great insight into the ReproUnion research projects and a status on the preliminary results. The presentations were followed by several questions from the participants and discussions with the PhD and Post Doc presenters. It was clear that the research projects are taking shape and all involved in ReproUnion are getting to know each other and are connecting cross border.

The seminar ended with a discussion about the ReproUnion Super Projects. Aleksander Giwercman and Claus Yding Andersen gave a presentation on the incoming proposals for the ReproUnion Super Project and the next steps. Almost 20 Super Project proposals have been received and will now be evaluated by an external committee. At a meeting in November/December, the selected projects will be presented for the committee. More information will follow.

The next ReproUnion Research Seminar takes place on October 11th. Stay updated on the event calendar for upcoming ReproUnion events.
