The 33rd Edition of the Annual European Association of Urology hosted in Copenhagen

The European Association of Urology’s annual congress took place in Copenhagen between the 16th -20th of March.  15, 000 urology specialists attended, which is the organizations biggest and most important scientific meeting.

During the five-day scientific program, the participants had the opportunities to attend training, network and presentations of the latest technological and pharmaceutical breakthroughs in the industry.

One part of the program that was very well-attended was the Live Surgery Sessions, which attracted both urologists and related medical professionals.  The sessions delivered best practices from experts within uro-surgical.  The European School of Urology (ESU) delivered courses from basic specialties to more advanced masterclass courses.  Their credited curriculum targets young and mid-career urologists.

Professor and ReproUnion Executive Board member, Jens Sønksen from Herlev & Gentofte Hospital had a prominent role as he holds the position as Adjunct Secretary General of EAU.  An interview with him can be found here
