Copenhagen to host the ESHRE Congress in 2020

Oct 5, 2018

We are pleased to present the news that our collaborative partner the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) will host its 36th Annual Meeting from 5th – 8th of July 2020 in Copenhagen. The persistent and targeted investment co-ordinated by ReproUnion in both universities, regions, and industry are some of the main reasons why ESHRE chose Copenhagen as a host city for its congress.

“Involuntary infertility is a serious challenge for the couples who are affected by infertility and for society in general. The issue is of international relevance and not related to Denmark alone. The Capital Region of Denmark is proud that our longstanding support to the Danish-Swedish Reprounion collaboration within the area of fertility now also has been recognized internationally and has made the Greater Copenhagen area the natural place to host a huge congress”
– Lars Gaardhøj (S), chairperson of the committee of Business, Growth, and Research in The Capital Region of Denmark
