The Need to Improve Fertility Awareness

Mar 14, 2018

Infertility is a global reproductive health issue that affects many individuals and couples. Professor Søren Ziebe from ReproUnion was interviewed on national TV yesterday about important factors of fertility and stated that the current development is not sustainable. Professor Ziebe and a number of colleagues in the Nordic countries have joined forces in order to create a think tank – Nordic Center for Fertility Awareness – that will be the first of its kind in the world. The purpose of the think tank is to bring awareness to fertility issues and facts that need to be considered when planning to have children, such as: age, general well-being and family history, just to name a few.
