New ReproUnion paper published in Nature Scientific Reports

Nov 23, 2017

Linn Mamsen, PhD student from Laboratory of Reproductive Biology, Rigshospitalet has published a new scientific paper entitled: Temporal expression pattern of genes during the period of sex differentiation in human embryonic gonads. The paper evaluates the precise timing and sequence of changes in expression of key genes and proteins during human sex-differentiation and onset of steroidogenesis, based on a collection of 67 human fetal gonads evaluated by whole-genome expression and confirmed by qPCR and immunohistochemistry (IHC).

Collectively, a precise temporal determination of changes in expression of key genes involved in human sex-differentiation is defined, with identification of new genes of potential importance.
